First K!-B-Day was QUITE excellent! It included the following: A bajillion "happy birthday!"s (hey, thanks!), pausing to consider murdering a 15-year-old boy, a very stressful, very frantic clusterfuck of 20 minutes, TWO biirthday cakes, homemade cucumber salad, wonderful friends, a pile of squirrels, and a little kitt...y gent named Atticus Jiggabe Bumbershoot III.
That's a quick summary. Actual details ever? Must finish lesson! Byeeeee.

This one's for you, Sallianne.
Wow, I fail so hard at this.
Today is Buddha's birthday! Happy birthday, Doood! Thanks for influencing my philosophy so awesomely and for the good you've done throughout history. Hi-5(s). Also, your statues are pretty. And I don't work today.
Life is glorious. I'm on a radio show now (here's the station: www.gfn.or.kr) and I really dig it...except when I'm writing scripts, just because I hate sitting still and doing one damn thing at a time and about 30 seconds before we record the show. I've got a 15 minute slot every week to talk about Korean art and design. Incidentally, I should be scripting at this very moment. Did some awesome interviews with Korean artist Hyun Jin Yoo (check her OUT: www.yoohyunjin.com). I'm really pumped to do the show and I'm buying one of her modern bojagi outerwear designs. EEEE. Next week...don't know yet. Probably the obligatory bienalle rundown. Not excited yet, BUT I've heard that some BADASS artists are coming, so I will be excited soon. Once I, you know, BOTHER WITH RESEARCH.
I'm in Taekwondo. I love it. I'm a yellow belt now. I still have trouble remembering a few of the basic commands in Korean, but my balance and kicking are getting better. And I have a GIANT crush on my super hottie instructor. He's mostly hot because he's SO KIND. Kindness crushes are the. best.
I've started "private lessons" with my amazing neighbor, Sujin. Really, she comes over for an hourish a week and we talk about whatever. And my "payment" is being invited to hang out with her adorable family all the time and learning about Korean culture. And how to scold children in Korean. VERY helpful in class, haha. She helped me redo my studio and we're going to be naughty and paint a mural in there. When a Korean wants to be naughty, YOU GO WITH IT. ^^
NEW COMIC A'BREWIN'. It's one of those things where I let the narrative kind of form without looking at it too hard and just keep gathering pieces that seem to fit...whatever it is that's happening. Also, controlled insanity.
Current obsessions: Dresden Dolls, Gorillaz, Henry Darger, Amanda Palmer, The Watchmen, my armour, and stealing artwork from my friends (thanks, Haley, Michele, and mayhap Sean...who gets mad credit for punching me back into daily drawing, regardless of future artsy exchanges).
School is awesome! More talkings with many students. Also, I was randomly granted permission to let my tattoos show at the middle school. Picnics and sports days. Many photos to upload.
K, gotta go!
I know, a pretty quick run through, but I really, really ought to be writing my script for next week. I kind of annoy my colleagues being late with things. Haha, big surprise.
