Also, got my punting time down to 50 minutes (needs to be 45)! Need to bulk up on my facts, though.

I'll push a fancy canoe around with a big stick and tell people (hopefully accurate) facts about Cambridge and the colleges that are on the river. Boom. That's a job.

p.p.s. I really like punting with an empty boat. It's so lovely when it's quiet and I feel like the king of the river. Silent tours are a thing, so hopefully I get one some day. That would be another kind of lovely, I think.

Update

* Volunteering at a charity shop. Neat.
* Had 2 interviews this week.
* Yesterday was to be a kitchen assistant at a bar and grill. Passed round 1.
* Today was to be a MOTHER EFFING PUNT CHAUFFEUR. I'll hear if I can start training tomorrow. Interview went well.
* Punt guy told me that I have a "soft" American accent. Wuht?
* The Beldens pulled a Grandma Hurta and knocked the back porch off with a hatchet.
* I made BOMBASS Mac & Cheese the other night. NOTHING BUT BUTTER AND MILK.
* I joined a German class. I went last night. It was hard and I felt for our teacher. I remembered a lot. Yay.
* I wrote my Oma a postcard like I promised. And told her how I joined a German class like I promised!
* I got a new laptop, got my tablet working, and figured out the super complicated system for turning on wireless access at Cambridge.
* I turn 27 this month! Neat!
* Lizzie gets a day off next Thursday!
* At the gym now. Time to get giant. RAWR.
