Lots of old, narrow streets (and some underground, like Mary King's Close! We went in there!)
I look good in my hat!
Terrifying children's toy! (In the Museum of Childhood)
Castle!
Volcanic rock!
So castley!
Lookin' fresh castle-side!
This is where JK Rowling wrote the first Harry Potter book! AHHHHHHHHHHHH
This is inside the bathroom! ALL OVER!
Favorite.
ALSO FRIED FOOD!!!!! (and some letter grades)
Pizza: C
It wasn't gross, but it didn't really taste any different.
Burgers: F--
Horrifying
Mars Bar: A
+ Haggis (not pictured....because it looks like what it is and also it was early then): B+
The architecture is beautiful and everything is so narrow and on top of itself. It's really hard to photograph if you're just some dick with an iPhone (like me), so here's some pictures that proper people took so you can see it.
Better view of the castle
The Scott Monument looks like a castle from hell (or The Sandman's castle) in the sunset. LOVED IT.
The view from Calton Hill (with some serious photoshopping going on)
Wow, I didn't find many good ones... Looks like you'll have to go to there!
Additionally, if you haven't already, enjoy this [Rated G]:
