Bonfire Night with the Popes

The cake on the left is called parkin and it TASTES LIKE BONFIRE. I think it's just a Yorkshire thing. We've got some fried onions and "baps" (buns) for sausages. Also FIREWORKS!

It's traditional to eat warm stuff that you can hold because you're normally outside watching the fireworks. Here we have a cup of soup, a sausage in a bun, and a "jacket potato" (baked potato).
